Thank you to K-Kids officers, members and advisors at Via Lanciano Primary School in Chieti, Italy, and Snacks Crossing Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S., for getting together for the first Global Connections meetup on April 4! Students at both schools met online and shared a little about leadership in their clubs, service in their communities and favorite athletic activities. Two special guests joined the meet-up: 2022-23 Kiwanis International President Bert West and Kiwanis Youth Programs Executive Director Michelle Study-Campbell.

Starting next year, members of clubs around the world will be able to meet up with a K-Kids club in another country — just like these American and Italian trailblazers! Look for the new Global Connections Meeting Kit on kiwaniskids.org and in the K-Kids newsletter this August. The kit will help partnering clubs plan a meeting and other activities to share about what happens in your clubs, the types of service projects you do and similarities and differences in your K-Kids’ lives and cultures. In the meantime, explore the other available Meeting Kits here.
