K-Kids Banner Patches 

What can you earn?

K-Kids clubs are encouraged to participate in a variety of projects. There are a few opportunities throughout the year to be recognized by Kiwanis International with a club banner patch. Here are a some ideas to help you earn yours.

Honor and Distinguished Club

The K-Kids Annual Achievement Report captures a club’s activities throughout the year. It reinforces the mission and value of the program and rewards clubs for dedication to service to school and community, fundraising and donation activities, and Kiwanis-family activities. The report is due by June 30. See form for complete details. 

Kiwanis One Day

Kiwanis One Day is a chance for Kiwanis-family clubs to work together to meet the needs of their communities. If your club is interested in receiving a patch for participating, complete the online banner patch form

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

In early fall, each K-Kids club will receive a personalized kit that contains its Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box, stickers, posters, and more. You can learn more the partnership with UNICEF online at and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF at Clubs raising US$250 or more are eligible for a banner patch.

Service Leadership Programs Global Service Society

The SLP Global Service Society recognizes clubs for the per-member average of their contributions within one year (October 1 - September 30) to the Kiwanis Eliminate Project. The Kiwanis family will raise US$100 million to save or protect millions of women and their babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus. Learn how your club can earn a banner patch and become a part of the Global Service Society.


K-Kids clubs submitting a club single service award entry or a scrapbook for the annual contests will receive a banner patch in the fall of the following year. Download the Contest Booklet with entry forms for the entire contest and award information, including deadlines, submission forms, and complete guidelines. (Deadline: April 1 to your district administrator)

Eliminate Week

Work together with your K-Kids club members to raise funds and awareness for The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus. Plan a fun week of fundraisers. Host your week in May—ideally, the week leading up to Mother’s Day. Review the Step-by-Step guide for Eliminate Week and complete a form to receive a banner patch in recognition of your club's participation.
