The first step of IDEA is Identify the Need: Members learn how to identify a service need in their school and/or community. Encourage club members to reflect on their research and what service needs they found.

Best Essay Rules:

1. One person from the club can write the essay, or it can be a group effort.

2. Essays should include the services needs the club researched and found in their school/community, which need the club chose, and the details or information tht motivated them to choose it.

3. Essays must be submitted as a Word document or pdf file.

4. Essays should be 500 words or more.

5. Upon submitting, entrant will be asked to include first names, and grade of the member who wrote the essay.

6. The option of uploading a group photo of K-Kids club members is also an option.

Entering is easy! Just upload your entry by December 15, 2018. Winners will be announced no later than February 15, 2019. The winning club will receive a US $100 shopping spree for supplies from the Kiwanis Warehouse.
