Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs Conference

The Kiwanis family has hundreds of thousands of members of all ages and it is continuing to grow. You are a very important part of this family. Kiwanis International invites you to participate in the third Service Leadership Programs Conference.

Program
The program package includes all meals, lodging, meetings and sessions, program materials, program souvenirs, airport transfers, and gratuities. Airfare is not included in the program package. The following tentative schedule is planned:

Registration Information
If you are one of the “invited participants,” simply click on the link provided to you by e-mail during the week of October 28-November 3, 2007. If you don’t receive an e-mail, or lose it, request another from lmartin@kiwanis.org. Space is limited, and no provisions are being made for spouses or a second individual from each district program category. Registrations received after
November 20, 2007, cannot be guaranteed.

Kiwanis District Secretaries and Governor-elects may attend and participate in the conference, and should also register by completing the electronic registration form e-mailed to you during the week of October 28-November 3, 2007 and paying the all-inclusive registration fee of US$ 550. A registration e-mail may be requested from lmartin@kiwanis.org. Once again, space is limited and spouses or others should not attend. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Travel Information
United Airlines and American Airlines are offering up to a 7% discount off most non-refundable fares for attendees of this conference. Reservations for this discount should be made by December 15, 2007. Reservations may be made one of two ways:

Call Litwack Travel Service, the Official Kiwanis Family Travel Provider, at
1-877 LITWACK (548-9225), Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (EST).
A service fee will be charged, depending upon the price of the ticket.
Book directly with United Airlines by calling 1-800-521-4041 (refer to Meeting ID 578PZ). United Airlines may charge a service fee for tickets purchased via phone. Book directly with American Airlines by calling 1-800-433-1790 (refer to Meeting Code A6518AN). American Airlines may charge a service fee for tickets purchased via phone.

Transfer to and from the Denver Airport to The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center is included as part of the program package. Additional shuttle information will be forthcoming.

New Administrator/Chair Orientation
Newly appointed 2008-09 Circle K and Key Club administrators, and new 2007-08 Builders Club, Aktion Club or K-Kids administrators are invited to participate in a one-day orientation on Friday, January 25. These individuals will be invited to arrive on Thursday evening, January 24.
The tentative orientation program schedule is shown below:

There is no additional cost to these participants.

Other Information

  • The attire for the entire weekend is “Kiwanis casual.” Attendees are invited to wear Kiwanis family apparel. The Kiwanis Family Store will also be set-up at the event to allow attendees to see and purchase the very latest in Kiwanis-family fashion wear.
  • Smoking is permitted outside on the grounds of the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center and if you request a smoking sleeping room.
