Dear Club Secretary,

Thank you for sponsoring a K-Kids club! The 2010-2011 year has arrived and it’s time to register your K-Kids club in order to receive updated materials. Please visit the online K-Kids Club Renewal Center located on the K-Kids Web site www.kiwaniskids.org.

Here’s what you’ll need to complete the online registration process:

 K-Kids club key number. (Example: P00432)

 School address and phone number.

 Faculty advisor name and e-mail.

 Kiwanis advisor name, address, phone, and e-mail.

 Number of K-Kids members in the club.

 Credit card or club checking account number to pay the $150 sponsorship fee through PayPal.

 Address of the individual you want to receive the K-Kids program kit.

Why register?

o When the registration process is completed this prompts Kiwanis International to mail a K-Kids program kit to the sponsoring Kiwanis club.

o Updated club advisor information is needed so Kiwanis can send mail and e-mail to club advisors.

What if I don’t register?

o If the $150 sponsorship fee is mailed to Kiwanis, but online registration is not completed, Kiwanis is not alerted and a program kit is not mailed. K-Kids members won’t receive needed materials.

What if my club sponsors more than one K-Kids club?

o Kiwanis clubs who sponsor multiple K-Kids clubs pay $150 for the first three (3) clubs, or $450. Additional K-Kids clubs sponsored by the Kiwanis club receive materials free of charge.

What will I receive in the K-Kids program kit?

o Up to 50 buttons, cards, handbooks, certificates, and K-Kids Zone magazines. Bulletin board décor, posters, faculty and Kiwanis advisor resources are also included.

What if I need more materials or have questions?

o If your K-Kids club has more members than provided materials additional supplies can be ordered from the Kiwanis International member services team at 317-875-8755 (worldwide) or 800-KIWANIS, ext. 411 (USA and Canada) or e-mail memberServices@kiwanis.org. Have questions? Call or e-mail the member services team. We’ll work with you to complete the registration process.

Why register?

When the registration process is completed Kiwanis International mails a program kit with member materials. Providing updated advisor information ensures that advisors receive e-mail updates from Kiwanis International. Registering the club also ensures the K-Kids club is under the protective umbrella of Kiwanis International's liability insurance.

What if I don’t register?
If online registration is not completed, the program kit isn't mailed and club members will not receive needed materials. Sending the $150 sponsorship fee to Kiwanis International is only half the process, registering online prompts mailing of the program kit.

What will I receive in the K-Kids program kit?

Member buttons, officer buttons, cards, handbooks, certificates, bulletin board décor, posters and club advisor resources.

What if I need additional materials?
If the club has more than 50 members, order one or more supplemental kits at the time of registration.

What if I need additional materials mid-year?

Additional supplies can be ordered from the Kiwanis International Member Services team at 317-875-8755 (worldwide) or 800-KIWANIS, ext. 411 (USA and Canada) or e-mail.

What if I encounter issues when registering online?

Call or e-mail the member services team at the phone number or email listed above. We'll work with you to complete the registration process.

What are my payment options when registering online?

Once in the system, updates can be made and you have the option of paying sponsorship fees by credit card or check. Funds can be used from the Kiwanis club’s service account.

Pay by credit card

This selection forwards the user to PayPal. While PayPal is our payment processor, you do not need a PayPal account to make your payment. PayPal accepts payments from all Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards. Paying by credit card ensures quick delivery of the Builders Club program kit.

Pay by check

Selecting the pay-by-check option will generate an invoice that can be printed and mailed to Kiwanis International with a check for US$150. Please allow at least four weeks to receive the program kit if paying by check.

Click on “Finish” before leaving the Club Renewal Center.

Don’t forget to click on the Finish button after completing the registration process! This sends the entered data to Kiwanis and generates a Builders Club program kit request.
